Clifford Aslinger

Clifford Aslinger, 86,  passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at his home in Sale Creek. He was born on September 26, 1937 to the late Hiram L. and Lottie M. Aslinger. He was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Aslinger and a sister Barbara Holloway. 

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Wanda L. Aslinger; his daughter LaShon (Kevin) Christen of Seattle; his son Dale Aslinger of Hixson; grandchildren Emily Christen and Jared (Danielle) Christen of Seattle; Maclain Aslinger of Auburn, AL, and Caleb Aslinger of Hixson. He is also survived by  his brother Danny (Joyce) Aslinger, and sister Carol Woody.

Clifford was a gifted mechanic who worked at Power Equipment Company for many years. He loved to garden and “peddled” tomatoes for several years after his retirement. He was a committed neighbor who often showed up when someone needed help. 

A memorial visitation will be Sunday, March 10 from 5 - 7 pm at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home.
