Clifton Scott Davis

Clifton Scott Davis, 61, passed away on June 24, 2022 at his home in Dayton, TN with his wife by his side.  Scott was of the Baptist faith and a member of Garrison Baptist Church.  He was retired at the time of his passing and had previously worked for Dixie Yarns, Lazyboy, and Roadtec (Astec).  An avid outdoorsman, he was blessed with his carpentry skills like Jesus.  Scott followed in the ways of God, from lending a helping hand to strangers to volunteering to help in his community. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; Hubert (Sonny) and Margie (Louise) Davis, brother; Steven Grant, and sister; Mela Kayrene.   He is survived by his wife of 40 years; Rosemary Hensley Davis and son; Ryan Scott Davis.

Funeral service for Scott will be held on Wednesday June 29, 2022 at 2 pm in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Breeden officiating. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday June 28, 2022 from 4-8PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.  Scott will be laid to rest at Garrison Cemetery.
