Crystal Jewell Suttles Cox
Born June 2, 1937 in Dayton, TN 
She passed away on November 25, 2019 at her home in Oak Ridge,TN. 
She attended church at Open Door Fellowship in Spring City, TN and Milestone Soloway in Oak Ridge, TN. Crystal loved animals especially dogs. She enjoyed watching game shows and was an avid reader. She genuinely loved her church family and attending church activities. She survived spinal meningitis as a child and later lived with a Parkinson’s diagnosis for several years prior to her passing. She was always reading and researching new ways to help with the disease including homeopathic remedies. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Mac Cox; mother and father, Earl and Missouri (Caraway) Suttles; sisters, Juanita Suttles Smith, Norma Suttles Thurman, Jane Volena Crawley and brothers, John Tillman Suttles and James Suttles. 
She is survived by her only child, daughter, Christy Harris Allen and son-in-law, Brad Allen; grandchildren, Cameron and Autumn Chester, Blake Sattler, Abby Sattler; great grandchildren, Caydin Chipman, Roman Chester, Stanton Chester, and Bailee Chester; brothers, Bobby Joe Suttles, Paul Henry Suttles, and Earl Suttles Jr.; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her best friend of over forty years, Lee Creasman.
Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2019 from 10 a.m. EST to 12 p.m. EST with funeral proceedings starting at 12 p.m. EST in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, TN. Interment will be in the Cove Cemetery.
