DEBORAH MAE (GOSS) TIPTON

Debbie Tipton, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Rhea Medical Center, in Dayton, Tennessee.  She was a life-long resident of Rhea County and was of the Church of God faith.

She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, liked to fish, cook, and riding 3-wheeled bicycles.  

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Gladys Goss; brothers, Larry Goss and John L. Rose; and sisters, Linda Suttles and Darlene Rose.   

She is survived by her son, William Shane (Ada) Cook; daughter, Christy Cook; sisters, Shirley (Jerry) Martin of Spring City, Arlene Price of Dayton, TN, and Kathy Stinnett, of Dayton, TN; three grandchildren, Summer Cook, Sarah Wooden, and Jacob Tufts; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Jarrod Sinclair officiating.  Interment will follow at Smyrna cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
