Don “Duck” Sharpe, age 77, a lifelong resident of Dayton passed away at his home on March 20, 2024. Don was a welder by trade and worked for Combustion Engineering Company, Inc. He was also a pipefitter, mason, and auctioneer. He loved talking on the ham radio and was a licensed operator since age 13. He loved his family and he loved his Lord even more. He was saved by grace through his faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lola Sharpe.
Don is survived by his wife, Linda Sharpe, one son, Donald (Renae) Sharpe, three grandchildren, Kaitlynd Sharpe, Bethanie Hickman, and Laurel Sharpe, two step-grandchildren, Maddie and Mallory Cunningham.
Funeral Service will be Friday, March 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, with Dr. Roger Rothwell officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 22, 2024 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM.
