David McEntire Obituary

David Chapman McEntire, 92 of Dayton, TN passed away February 12, 2021 at Life Care Center of Rhea County.

David was a longtime resident of Rhea County and a member of Cornerstone Church of God in Dayton. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a retired Deputy with the Rhea County Sheriff Dept.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Vera McEntire; wife, Patsy McEntire; daughters, Vickie Porter and Patty Barnes and 5 brothers.

He is survived by his son, David (Terry) McEntire of Northridgeville, OH; brothers, Luke McEntire of Hartford, CT, Wally McEntire of Avon, OH, Zane McEntire of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Kristi Neal and David Barnes and great granddaughter, Hailey Faith Barnes.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev Dwain Redden officiating.

Family will receive friends Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 2:00-3:00pm.
