David Victor (Vic) Daniel

David Victor Daniel “Vic”, 67, died peacefully on March 26, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.  Vic was a graduate of Rhea County High School class of 1973.  He attended Chattanooga State Community College where he received an Associate Degree in Business and Accounting and a degree in Machine and Tool.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He retired from Suburban after 33 years of employment.  Vic was a passionate fan of the Tennessee Vols and enjoyed researching his family genealogy and heritage. He spent his remaining years being a devoted brother and uncle.  He will be greatly missed.

Vic is preceded in death by his parents: Doyle Daniel and Velma Daniel Nash, grandparents: Cay and Sidney Daniel and David and Betty Brown all of Rhea County. 

He is survived by his sister: Nancy Daniel Walker, nephew: Stephen Walker, niece:  Rachel Walker Holloway, great nephew: Gabriel Dickerson and great niece: Layla Holloway, all residing in Dayton. 

There will be a memorial service for Vic on Thursday March 31, 2022 at 5:00PM at Spivey United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Hickman and Pastor Bill Ewing officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Spivey United Methodist Church.
