David Chapman Peak Sr. 72, passed away January 30, 2021 at his home.
He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a proud veteran of the Army National Guard where he served for 10 years. David loved having a garden and he used those vegetables to cook and can. He also really enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a welder at Price Brothers where he worked for 30 years.
David is preceded in death by his parents Carl Peak and Cordelia Janow; son Brandon Peak; grandson Joshua Marshall; and two nephews Scott and Keith McConnell.
He is survived by children, Tammy Saunders, Larry Peak, David Peak Jr., Andrew Peak all of Dayton and Todd Peak of Alabama; sisters, Brenda Woody of Dayton, Kelly Helton and Kim Powers of Oak Ridge; twenty four grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 from 5:00-8:00PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
Service will we held Wednesday February 3rd, 2021 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison.
Interment will follow at Friendship Circle Cemetery.
