David Lambert Scott, age 54, of Dayton, Tennessee, passed away on May 23, 2025, at his residence. He was born on July 8, 1970, in Takoma Park, Washington, D.C./Maryland, to Donald and Zelma (Lambert) Scott.
David worked at Stultz Manufacturing in Dayton, TN. Outside of work, he loved spending time around the fire pit with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, listening to music, and singing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Zelma (Lambert) Scott of Rhea County.
David is survived by his son, Landon Scott of Chicago, Illinois; his brother, Donald (Sherry) Scott; his sister, Diana (Charlie Jordan) Keener; his nephews, Joshua (Kase) Scott, Brandon (Tehya) Scott, and Kane (Brooke) Scott; his nieces, Christian Keener and Faith (Cody) Keener; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home to remember and honor David. In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated, and no formal funeral services will be held.
