DeWayne Gates Obituary

Marvin DeWayne Gates passed away May 3, 2021 at his home in Hixson, TN. He was born and raised in Rhea County and of the Baptist faith. He was the owner/operator of Gates PestControl.

He is preceded in death by his father Lester Gates.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Gates; step-mother, Colan Gates both of Dayton, TN; brother, Douglas (Lynda Britt) Gates of Spring City, TN; sisters, Kelly (Rusty) Caraway, LaDonna (Jeff) Pelfrey, Kim Lane, Terri Sneed all of Dayton, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 12:00 in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4-7 PM.

Interment will be at Spring City Memorial Gardens.
