Donnie Daniel DeFore

Donnie Daniel DeFore passed away March 14, 2019 at his home in Nashville, TN.

Donnie was a longtime resident of Rhea County. He was of the Church of God faith and attended Cove Chapel Church of God while living in Dayton. He moved to Nashville in 1964. He was a plumber for 50 years. He enjoyed his family and watching his western shows.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Ruby Nichols DeFore; wife, Frances DeFore and one brother, Ricky DeFore.

He is survived by his children, Sharon Kay (Rob) Lowe of Chapel Hill, TN, Misty (Chris) DeFore and Michael DeFore of Nashville, TN, Donald (Wendy) DeFore of Dayton, TN, Thomas (Teresa) DeFore of Portland, TN; sisters, Helen Sprouse of Spring City, TN, Louise Stevens of Marietta, GA, Rudy Cox and Rhonda Shipley of Dayton, TN, Wanda White of TX; brothers, Floyd, Dean and Jerry DeFore all of Dayton, TN, Jimbo DeFore of Murfreesboro, TN, Robert and Paul DeFore of Bakewell, TN; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 1:00pm at Cove Chapel Church of God in Dayton with Rev. Nathan Poteet officiating.   

Interment will follow at Cove Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Monday, March 18, 2019 from 4:00-8:00pm at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
