Doris June (West) Ray

Doris June Ray, age 90, passed away at Rhea Medical Center on November 8, 2024.  She was a life long resident of Rhea County and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church.  She is preceded in death by her parents; John and Dixie West, husband; Neil Ray and brothers; Jackie and Ronnie West. 

Doris is survived by her children; Sue (David) Moyers, Jeffrey “Rusty” (Krista ) Ray, both of Evensville, TN and Myrna (Tony) Jetton of Soddy Daisy, TN, sister; Gayle Kelly of Dayton and Tinker West of Cleveland, TN, grandchildren; Jill Noga, Collin Moyer, Westin Ray, Cale Ray, and Keaton Ray and great grandchildren; Anthony Noga, Rayna Noga, Madison and Ellie Moyers.

Funeral service will be on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 2PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Rothwell officiating.  The family will receive friends from noon until the start of the service.  Rev. Shane Johnson will officiate the committal service at Pierce cemetery where Doris will be laid to rest beside her husband.
