Doris Wooden Obituary

Doris Ann Wooden, 68, of Pikeville, TN passed away May13, 2021 at Park Ridge Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

Doris was a longtime resident of Rhea County before moving to Pikeville. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Community Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Effie Swafford Clark; husband, James Wooden; brothers, Sam Clark, William Dodd, R.J. Dodd, Bobby Dodd and sister, Louise Parson.

She is survived by her sister, Glena (Ronnie) Roe of Dayton, TN; step-children, Scott Wooden, James “Woody” Wooden and Lori (Keith) Smith and step-grandchildren, Mason Wooden and Eli Smith.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 2:00pm at Rigsby Cemetery in Pikeville, TN with Rev. Jimmy Jewell officiating.
