Dorothy "Dot" Ann (Dotson) Davault

Dorothy “Dot” Ann Dotson Davault of Dayton, TN passed away peacefully Monday, September 17, 2018 at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Dorothy was born May 13, 1944 in Dayton, TN to Daisy Mae Suttles Dotson and John Dotson. She grew up in Rhea County and lived here several years before moving to Georgia, Louisiana and them back to Tennessee. She was a longtime lover of the written word and the arts, and she had a special fondness for unicorns.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Deborah.

She is survived by her sons, Michael William Newell and his wife, Kathy of Florida, Billy Gordon Davault Jr. and his wife, Faye of Louisiana, Benjamin James Davis of Tennessee; daughters, Emily Carline Devault of Louisiana, Kimberly Renee Davault of Louisiana, Charlene Newell Stegner and her husband, Bill of Georgia, Johnna Marie Davault Goggin and her husband, Michael of Georgia and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

There will be no service per her request.
