Edna Louise Webb, 89, of Dayton, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2023, at Parkridge Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was a member of the Morgan Springs Baptist Church.
After more than 20 years of not being able to walk, she is now walking with Jesus. Edna was a consummate cut-up, loved life, and people. She cared deeply for her family and was always willing to help a stranger. She will be forever missed.
Edna is preceded in death by her parents John and Hattie Morgan Mitts; husband, Charles Henry Webb; brothers, Herbert and Harold Mitts; and sisters, Margaret Mitts Rice, Marian Mitts Simms, Loretta Bell Louallen; and Carolyn Mitts Carney.
She is survived by her five children, Ann (Jeffrey) Jarriel of Dayton, TN, Kim Cameron of Dayton, TN, David Charles (Helen Jones) Webb of Dayton, TN, Michael T. (Deborah) Webb of Dayton, TN, and John W. Webb, of Dayton, TN; one sister, Ina Ruth (Dorman) Roach of Red Bank, TN; two grandchildren, Michael Jacob Webb, of Dayton, TN, and Samantha Lynn Webb, of Dayton, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Jewel officiating. Interment will follow at Rigsby Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:00 AM for the family and will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
