Earl Harris Obituary

Earl Wilburn Harris, 95, of Dayton, TN passed away January 21, 2019 at Rhea Medical Center.

Earl was born March 13, 1923 to Barnett and Ida Bishop Harris. He was a member of White Oak Baptist Church and a decorated veteran of World War II. He was a retired farmer as well as a former self-employed upholsterer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Barnett and Ida Bishop Harris; wife, Mary Ruth Burton Harris and brothers, Paul, Thurman and Harold Harris.

He is survived by his sister, Reba (Jack) Hutsell of Dayton, TN; brother, Clyde Harris of Soddy Daisy, TN; special friend and caregiver, Donnie Braddam and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Service will be Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Ruehling and Rev. Steven Williams officiating.

Family will receive friends, Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 12:00-2:00pm.

Interment will be at Rhea Memory Gardens.
