Earl Dean Stinnett 86, passed away on February 20, 2021 at Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga.
Earl was a lifelong resident of Rhea County, and a member of Kelly Grove Baptist Church where he also served as a Deacon. He was the oldest living Mason in Rhea County, a lifelong member of the Rhea County Rescue Squad and also worked for the Rhea County Sherriff’s office where he was in charge of the trustees. Some of his favorite hobbies were camping and square dancing.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Earl and Lillie Stinnett; son, Harold Stinnett; Brother, Johnny Stinnett; and Grandson, Geoffery Manor.
Earl is survived by his wife of 67 years, Shelby Brady Stinnett of Dayton, TN; daughter Vicki (Mike) Holloway of Rockwood, TN; son Kimberly Stinnett of Dayton, TN; Daughter in law Barbara Stinnett; special family member Dell Christy; Grandchildren, Robyn McDonald, Michael Mockbee, Joshua Holloway, Nicholas Holloway, Lillie Santiago, Deirdre Cassel, Samuel Stinnett, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral and Masonic Service will be Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Williams and Rev. Stacey Geno officiating.
Visitation will be Monday February 22, 2021 from 4-8pm.
Internment will be at Rhea Memory Gardens.
