Edwina Farmer, 71, of Dayton, TN passed away at her home on March 30, 2021.
She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of Faith Independent Missionary Baptist Church. She was well known for her radiant and affectionate smile that would bring joy to the hearts of anyone she came across. A women of faith and strength she encouraged everyone around her. Never complaining and always with joy in her heart she was an inspiration to her community and a rare gem that today’s generation should strive to be. To say she will be greatly missed is an understatement.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ace Mack Louallen; mother, Mollie Jean Louallen; husband, Freddie Farmer; two sisters, Betty Jean Louallen and Patty Stinnett; four brothers, Johnny Louallen, Sam Lewallen, James Louallen and Andy Turner.
She is survived by her three children, Angie Iles of Dayton, TN, Denny (Denise) Farmer of Hixson TN, Tina (Henry) Smith of Dayton, TN; two sisters Geraldine (Leroy) Filyaw of Dayton, TN, Susan (Greg) Arthur of Rossville, GA; brother, Tommy Louallen of Graysville, TN; six grandchildren, Brandon (Lindsay) Ray, Ashley and Jessica Iles, William Farmer JR., Robert King; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 1st, 2021 from 3:00PM-8:00PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
Services will be held Friday, April 2nd, 2021 at 2:00pm with Rev. Stanley Faulkner and Rev. Mack Louallen officiating.
Interment to follow at Kiuka-Rogers Cemetery.
