Elizabeth Crowe Obituary

Elizabeth Myers Crowe of Evensville, TN passed away August 16, 2020 at Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center.

She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of Evensville United Methodist Church. She was a cook at Evensville School, worked 15 years at Dixie Yarns and co-owned a theater with her husband. She was an avid roller skater and water skier. Her joys were her family and grandchildren and she loved to cook.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Carney Myers and Mary Crowe Myers and daughter, Debra Karen Crowe McArthur.

She is survived by her husband, William Delbert Crowe of Evensville; daughter, Tenika Dawn (Chuck) Mason of Dayton, TN; sister, Barbara (Bill) Keith of Townville, SC; aunt, Margie Shipley of Dayton, TN; special friend, Geraldine, McClure; 2 grandchildren, Savannah and Alex Mason and several cousins, nieces and nephews.Special thanks to Dr. Alycia Cleinman and staff, Palliative Care, Hospice of Chattanooga and Tiffany Bower.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 1:00pm at Buttram Cemetery with Pastor Skip Mason officiating.

Due to Covid-19, social distancing will be in effect and wearing a mask is recommended.
