Elizabeth Tharpe Obituary

Elizabeth Sue Tharpe passed away January 16, 2022, in a Knoxville hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of Garrison Baptist Church. She graduated from Rhea County High School, in 1970. She was employed by Rhea Medical Center and Robinson Manufacturing.

She was preceded in death by her father: Earnest Stinnett; brother: Richard; infant daughter: Amanda.

She is survived by her mother: Mildred Stinnett; son: Adam; daughter: Brooke (Shawn); grandchildren: Gage, Tori, Slade, Hope, and Austin; special niece and nephew: Angela and Chris; nieces: Samantha, Clarissa, and several cousins.

Special thanks to the Dialysis Clinic of Rhea County.

The service will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in the chapel at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home, Brother Mike Breeden officiating. Interment will follow at Rhea Memory Garden.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
