Eugene Rice Obituary

Eugene F. Rice of New Market Tennessee formally of Waterford Pennsylvania passed away on January 15th 2021.

Born on September 1st 1942 in Meadville Pennsylvania to the late Frank Rice and Maude Ames Rice.

Eugene graduated from Tech memorial high School with a certificate in auto mechanics in 1961.

He worked at Dahl motors in Erie for several years as a parts manager and later moved on to Hume's Chrysler Plymouth in Waterford until his retirement in 2004.

Gene was an avid Cleveland Brown's and Indians fan and enjoyed wood working and seeing the country.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maude Rice; siblings, Walter D. Lynch, Geraldine M. Knight, and Edwin R. Rice.

He is survived by his companion Lillian Bishop of New Market, TN; brother, Raymond P. Rice of FL; three children, Layna Sander (Mark) of Corry, PA, Jared Rice and companion Amber Corritore of Erie, PA. Clinton Rice (Bethany) of Waterford, PA and one grandson Brady Rice.

A private family service will be held at a later date in Tennessee.
