Evelyn has at last rejoined her beloved husband Charlie, who she was married to for over 50 years. Evelyn was born in Dayton, Tennessee on July 24, 1926, the daughter of William and Grace Kelley. Evelyn proudly worked as a riveter at the Oliver Aircraft Company of Battle Creek, MI working on B-29 Bombers. Later in the 1960’s she became a licensed beautician and worked in several salons in the area. She was well known for her cooking skills, her down home personality and sense of humor. She loved gardening and tending her flowers.
Evelyn and Charlie had three children: Sandra (Tom) Bush of Dandridge, TN; Linda (Tom) Mullen of Battle Creek, MI (deceased); and Lieutenant Colonel Charles (Pam) E. Clark, Jr. of Nashville, MI. Evelyn had five grandchildren (Stacie, Kim, Kelley, Jarod, and Holley), 7 great grandchildren, and had many additional step grandchildren and great step grandchildren.
Visitation and services will be held at the Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home located at 1670 Market Street, Dayton, TN. Visitation will be from 1: 00 PM - 2:30 PM on January 8, 2022, followed immediately by services at 2:30 PM.
