Farris "Bud" Lynn Troutman

Farris Lynn “Bud” Troutman, 80, passed away on June 27, 2023 at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga.  He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County.  He was a Christian and attended Unity Gospel Tabernacle and The Lighthouse.  Fishing and spending time with his family were two of his favorite things.  His family was his life.  Bud was also a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time in the kitchen preparing meals.  

He is preceded in death by his parents; Marshall and Esther Troutman, three children; Dale, Tammy and Stewart Troutman, and sister; Loretta Defriese.

Bud is survived by his wife; Donna Miller Troutman, children; Mark Troutman, Guinn (Mike) Sneed, and Shawn (Jennie) Troutman, sisters; Carol Ray, and  Diane Francisco, nine grandchildren; Buster, Harlan and Farris Troutman, Jamie Davis, Jessie Dannel, Jacquline McCullough, Micah Price, Brittany Troutman, and Brandi Matney,  and thirteen great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday June 30, 2023 at 11AM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Douglas Graham officiating.  Visitation will be held on Thursday June 29, 2023 from 4-8PM and also Friday morning from 10 until the start of the service at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home. Interment will be at Spivey Cemetery.
