Frankie Lee Freeman, III

Frankie Lee Freeman, 47, of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Freeman, a native of Miami, Florida, was born on March 13, 1971 and has been resident of Rhea County for the past ten years. He was employed with FEMA where he was a member of the storm recovery team. He enjoyed fishing, boating, cooking, camping, the outdoors, spending time with his friends and with the love of his life, Shannon. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann Madison and his grandmother, Catherine Lovell Walker.

He is survived by his fiancé, Shannon Lindsay, his father, Pete Walker, three children, Jesse Freeman, Daisy Leann Freeman and Brittany Freeman, stepchildren, Maddison Kramer, Brandon Kramer, C.J. Carter, Hunter Wilhite and Amy Wilhite, two brothers, Mike Freeman and Johl Bonnano, three nephews, Michael Freeman, Jr., Aiden Bonnano and Devin Herndon, a sister-in-law Jolene Herndon, two brothers-in-law, Adam Weeks and John Berriero, special friends, David (Tanya) Terrell and Brandon Deveraux, several extended family members and his two “furry four-legged children, “Sput and Baby.”

The family would like to send a special thanks to Hearth Hospice for their compassionate care delivered to Frankie.

A private memorial service will be held at a later day. There will be no visitation.
