Frankie Viola Janow "Nanny" passed on September 25, 2025, surrounded by the ones who loved her most. She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County. She attended Family Worship Center of Dayton. A lifelong loving, God fearing women.
Frankie was preceded in death by her husband; Charlie Janow, parents; Bill and Virginia Neal, siblings; Jean Doss and Billy Neal all of Rhea County.
She is survived by her daughters; Tanya (Ray) Knox, Billie (Tony) Vaughn, Ethel (Cary) Taylor. Grandchildren; Bubba (Megan) Hughes, Jodi Hughes, Harley Sullivan, CW (Bailey) Taylor, Bradley (Austin) Taylor, Deborah (Camren) Thurman, Gracie (Blake) Wright. Great Grandchildren; Cole Rose, David Hughes, Nevaeh Hall, Charlee Taylor, Hadley Taylor, Kip Taylor, Boone Thurman. Great great Grandchild; Cai Rose. Siblings; Joann Doss, Mary Holloway, Linda Cox, Robert (Donna) Neal, Emma (Chuck) Keller, Richard (Lisa) Neal. And many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
Frankie was the kindest soul on earth. She loved her family and friends but most importantly she loved our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. The lessons she taught through her faith and the comfort we all found in her voice and between her arms will carry us on seeing her again. She loved everyone with her whole heart, no matter if she knew you or not, she loved like God. Her laugh was contagious and made your heart feel warm. Have faith like her and find comfort in knowing we will see her again soon.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday September 28, 2025, at 2:00PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with the Pastor Steven Doss officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday September 27, 2025, from 3:00PM until 8:00PM, and again Sunday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery in Dayton, Tennessee.
