Franklin Delanore Prevatte

Franklin Prevatte of Dayton, TN went home to be with Jesus August 2, 2020.

Frank was born July 22, 1939 in Mulberry, SC to Laddie and Alvi Prevatte.  He was a member of Shriners, Masons, Eastern Star, Civil Air Patrol, Scottish Rites and York Rites. He served as Chaplin for 8 years and president for 2 years in Shriners. He retired from Rhea Medical Center after 34 years of employment.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J.T., Charles, James and Thurman Prevatte and sisters, Diamond, Clara Mae and Pearl.

Left to cherish his memory is his love, Mary Bell of Dayton, TN;  daughters, Anita Prevatte of Winchester, TN and Cheryl Prevatte of Murfreessboro, TN; sons, Franklin Prevatte Jr. of  Orangeburg SC and Larry Deese; granddaughters, Allie Honey of Murfreesboro, TN, Tuscany (Andrew) Bernier of Lafayette IN and Karie; 2 great granddaughters and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service will be Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Walls  officiating. Interment will be at Smith-Wilkey Cemetery with Masonic Service.

Family will receive friends and family on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 10:00am-12:00pm.
