Geraldine (Roberts) Cook, 82, passed away on January 27, 2024. She was born in Pikeville, TN on September 4, 1941, to Samuel Truman Roberts and Vergie McDaniel Roberts. She was a lifelong resident of Dayton, TN. and active in the Webb Chapel Church of God. She was a factory worker at a local hosiery manufacturer.
She was preceded in death by parents, Truman and Vergie Roberts, brothers: S. T., Tom, Jim, and Vinell Roberts, and her sister, Versie Fugate.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Jared) Hixson; three grandchildren, Dylan and Chase Hoffman and Jacob Hixson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Geraldine loved her family, loved God, and loved her grandchildren more that anything. She loved thrift shopping with her best friend, Hazel Ray. She never missed a sporting event for her grandkids. She was sassy, feisty, and loved to make people laugh.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home. Funeral service is Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jackie Penney officiating. Interment will follow at Winnie Cemetery.
