GLENDA SUE (PENDERGRASS) NICHOLS

Glenda Sue (Pendergrass) Nichols, age 57, passed away June 12, 2024, at her home in Dayton, TN.  She was born on September 20, 1966, in Florida, to Wayne and Mary Alice (Johnson) Pendergrass. She was a member of the Cove Chapel Church of God, and enjoyed crafting, birdwatching, and her cats.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Mary Pendergrass; mother and father-in-law, James and Bernice Nichols; and infant sister.

Glenda is survived by her husband, Larry Nichols; four children, Terry ( Cindy) Nichols, Zackery (Kristin) Nichols, Eric Nichols, Derek ( Sara) Nichols; sister, Michelle (Danny) Pendergrass; brother, Troy Pendergrass; seven grandchildren, Alice, Kelsi, James, Payton, Riley, Marley, Reagan; and a special aunt Emma Pendergrass, who became a second mom to Glenda when her mother passed away.

Funeral service will be Sunday, June 16,2024, at 3:00 PM at the Cove Chapel Church of God at 941 Cranmore Cove Road, Dayton, TN.  Pastor L.J. Davis will be officiating, with burial to follow at Burchard Cemetery

Visitation will be Saturday, June 15, 2024, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton.

Pallbearers will be: Gary Coulter, Cody Gillian, Blake Morgan, Chris Morgan, Bobby Johnson, and Darnell Bice.
