Garland Roger Knox age 62 of Dayton passed away on Friday November 20, 2020 at his residence. Garland was a lifelong resident of Rhea County. He was a truck driver for IAC in Dayton. He enjoyed wood working and he loved Chevrolet vehicles.
Garland was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ruth Knox and his brother Billy McMillion.
He is survived by his wife Vicki Knox of Dayton, his children, Brandalyn Yakubek, and Robby Smith both of Dayton; one brother Boyd Knox of Evensville and his pet Princess “Bree Bree.” Other survivors include grandchildren, Emmary Yakubek, Dustin Smith, Kaleb Smith, Madalyn Newby, Josiah Garland and Abigail Garland.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 10am- 2pm at Coulter Garrison funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2:p.m.in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison funeral home with Dr. Chip Beaulieu officiating. Burial will be at Rigsby Cemetery.
For the safety and respect of all, mask are required and no food is allowed to be served at this time.
