George O Brown

George O. Brown, 87 of Dayton, TN passed away on July 11, 2021. He was a long-time resident of Rhea County and of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith. He was previously employed as a truck driver and had served as a lay minister at Ogden Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Charles Brown.

George is survived by his wife Loretta Fisher Brown of Dayton; daughter Georgia (Buddy) Sinclair of Dayton; daughter, Dianna (Mike) Halverson of Pikeville; son, Garry Brown of Dayton; daughter, Ada West of Dayton; his sister, Eleanor McIntyre of FL; brother, Edwin Brown of Mio, MI; eleven grandchild; eighteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the Ogden Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Larry Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Ogden Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
