Glenda Mae Douglas

Mrs. Glenda Mae Douglas, 79, of Dayton, TN passed away at her home Monday April 29, 2024. A lifelong resident, she was born August 8, 1944 to Arvie and Mildred Cox in Dayton, TN.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Arvie and Mildred Cox; husband, Jerry Mack Douglas, Sr.; daughter, Janie Douglas; and two granddaughters, Stephanie Powell and Vicky Ruyz.

            Mrs. Douglas is survived by four children, Reva Prater, Jerry Mack (Rhonda) Douglas, Jr., James (Teresa) Douglas, and Ronnie (Christie) Douglas; two sisters, Norma Davis and Judy Iles; one brother, Bobby Cox; eleven grandchildren, Shannon, Chris, Carmen, Amy, Tasha, Jerry Mack III, Stacie, Dalton, and David; nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held graveside Wednesday, May 1 at 1PM at Spivey Cemetery with Brother Scotty Smith officiating.
