HEATHER JEAN (CONAWAY) HYATTE

On July 01, 2024, Heather Hyatte (Simmons) left this world to a place many often long to go. Heather was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, family member, and friend. She was 50 years of age at the time of her passing and resided in Graysville, Tn, and later passed at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton, TN. Heather worked for Wendy's in Dayton, Tn. where she was a dedicated shift manager and loved every member of her team; especially the customers that came through. She also worked at Bojangles in Dayton, TN, [prior] where she was a shift manager. Heather enjoyed spending time with family and friends, living life in the slow lane until someone mentioned the word “Casino”. She had a outgoing, spunky and bubbly personality. She is proceeded in death by her father, Blake Conaway. Grandmother, Louise Clausis, Cousin, Patty Vaughn. Nephew, Cory Conaway, and the father of her children. She is survived by Mother, Cathy Owen. Longtime partner and best friend, Kevin Simmons. Children: Alicia, Gary, and Jeffery Hyatte. Grand Children: Bentley Hyatte, John, Braylnn, and Ariyanna Harden. Sisters, Catrina (Brandon) Byrd and Jessica (Trey) Carney. Brother, Albert (Teresa) Conaway. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family, and friends.

The service will be officiated by Rev. Teresa Smith and eulogy by [eldest son] Gary Hyatte. Services will be held at Coulter Garrison Funeral home in Dayton, TN on Friday, July 05, 2024.

Family will be from 3:00pm – 4:00pm. Friends will be from 4:00pm – 5:00pm. Services will be 5:00pm in the Chapel – conclude of service. Following directly after, we will lay Heather Hyatte (Simmons) to rest in Pine Crest Cemetery, located behind Wendy’s in Dayton, TN.
