HOYETT GENE HARTMAN

Hoyett Hartman., 76, of Sale Creek, Tennessee, a life-long resident of the area, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, surrounded by his family.  He was of the Baptist faith and a retired minister.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

Hoyett liked to hunt, enjoyed tending to his garden and mowing his yard.  He was passionate about his dogs and devoted to taking care of them.  He loved and adored his precious granddaughters and great grandson. 

He is preceded in death by son, Dewayne Porter; parents, L.J. and Fannie Hartman; and brothers, Ronald, Glenn, and Calvin Hartman.   

Hoyett is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda Hartman; two sons, Andy Hartman and John Hartman; two sisters, Sue Gaither and Debbie Dye; brother, Alfred Hartman; four granddaughters, Amanda Darsey, Emily Hartman, Taylor Hartman, and Courtney Hartman; and great grandson, Wilder Salter.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home followed by a service at 6:00 PM.  Reverend Archie Poole will be officiating.
