Helen Marie (Riggs) Houston

Helen Marie Houston, age 75, of Dayton, TN passed away on September 20, 2021. She was a life-long resident of this area and had worked as a caregiver. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dollie (Lettner) Riggs; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Charles “Baldy” Houston; daughter, Melissa (Tyron) Rogers; son, Charles (Tracie) Houston; sisters, Wanda Grogan and Brenda (Earl) Shadden; 4 grandchildren, Charles Houston, Kim Boles, Brittany Houston, and Ashley Simmons; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Minister Steve Brown officiating.  Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 5 – 7 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
