ISSAC "IKEY" LEE BURWICK

Issac (Ikey) L. Burwick, age 67 of Dayton passed away Saturday Feb, 17, 2024 at his residence in Dayton, TN. He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith. He was a factory worker in furniture manufacturing at La Z Boy.

Ikey was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Rose Nell Burwick; brothers, Floyd Jr., Samuel and Donnie Burwick, and Curtis Carter; sisters, Josephine Smith, Reba Phillips, Doris Jones, Thelma Anspach, Nettie Burnstein, Brenda Crabtree, Shirley Carter, and Sally Burwick.

Survivors include: Spouse, Jeannie "Sue" Alice (Higgins) Burwick of Dayton; daughter, Roxie (Jake) Miller of Dayton, three brothers, Johnny (Debbie) Burwick, Millard (Susie) Carter Lookout Mtn, GA, and Doug Carter of Dayton; two grandchildren, Corbin and Collin Miller; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be: Wednesday, February 21, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM with service to follow in Coulter Garrison Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tim Sharpe officiating. Interment will be in Kiuka Cemetery following service.
