Obituary

James Creasman, 53, passed away on August 12, 2023, at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton, TN.  He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County.  He enjoyed taxidermy, fishing, and hunting.  James loved his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was an avid tinker, jack of all trades, and master of none.   He will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Tallent Creasman; and sister, Wanda Rose.

James is survived by his partner, Duchess Creasman; father, Doyle Creasman; three children, Matt (Mary Thurman) Creasman of Graysville, TN; Brittany Creasman of Dayton, TN; and Alaynna Lainey Creasman of Spring City, TN; sister, Lisa (Barry) Daniel of Graysville, TN; four brothers, Robert and Stevie Creasman of Dayton, TN, David (Sally) Creasman of Graysville, TN; and Donnie (Alona) Creasman of Ft. Riley, KS; three grandchildren, Erica Shadden, Myla Johnson, and Lena Creasman; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday August 17, 2023, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Reverend Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.  Interment will follow at Shelton Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 1:00 PM until time of service.
