JANET LOUISE (BEAUDIRE) RICE

Janet Louise Rice, age 91, passed away on May 11, 2024 in Dayton, TN.  She was born in Walker, West Virginia, to John and Beatrice (Thurston) Beaudire.  She moved to the Rhea County area in 1984 from Battle Creek, Michigan and was employed at Robinson’s Manufacturing for more than 10 years.

Janet is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ralph Rice; son, Kyle Rice.

She is survived by her son Kevin (Sonja) Rice; daughter, Peggy Rice; daughter-in-law, Brenda Rice; grandchildren, Sonja Marie and Tammie Rice, Carlissa Miller, Tyler (Shawna) Hale; great-grandchildren, Bristol Wilson, Emma and Faithlynn Hale, DeShawn, DeVon, Tailer, Esvardo, Mimmie, Alejandro, and Marcos; great-great-grandchildren, Alaya, Gracelynn, and Sophia.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, TN.  Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Chapel with Reverend Von Dunn officiating, and burial in Morgan Springs Cemetery.
