JOHNNY HOYAL HOUSLEY

Johnny Hoyal Housley, 86, a life-long resident of Dayton, TN passed away at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN, on March 20, 2023.    

He was a member of Old Washington Baptist Church.  Johnny enjoyed fishing, riding his trike, working, and spending time with his family and friends.  He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Houston and Ada Housley; twelve brothers and sisters; Grandson, Clayton Edgeman, Son-in-Law, Wayne Brown; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Johnny is survived by his children, Johnny (Vivian) Housley, Patty Housley Edgeman, and Debbie Housley Brown; five Grandchildren, William (Susan) Housley, Marvin Housley, Mindy Lindkvist, Robert (Shay) May, and Clint Edgeman; seven Great Grandchildren; twelve Great-Great Grandchildren; and several Nieces and Nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bobby Harris officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM prior to the service.  Interment will be at Spence Cemetery.       

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Washington Baptist Church Building Fund, White Flats Road, Dayton, TN  37321.
