James Everett Daniel Sr. of Evensville, TN passed away January 16, 2020 at Parkridge Hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

Jim was a longtime resident of Rhea County and a member of Dayton Church of God. He worked 28 years as a Civil Engineer, some at TVA Watts Bar. His passion was missions. He was a short term missionary and was an active volunteer in church and mission work. He loved football and sports.

He is preceded in death by his parents Everett Daniel and Omega Nash Daniel; grandson, Matthew James Daniel and granddaughters, Crystal Fowler and Megan Ashley Daniel.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Daniel of Evensville, TN; children, Lori Hicks of Evensville, Brent Daniel of Chattanooga, TN, Jamie (Carie) Daniel of Soddy Daisy, TN; sister, Diane (Mike) Bowles of Bowling Green, KY; 3 grandchildren, Alli, Will and Addison Daniel;4 great grandchildren, Cory and Chris Fowler and Cameron and Jaxson Wilbanks and 3 nieces.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Edward Lane Davis officiating.

Family will receive friends Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 12:00-2:00pm.
