James Phipps Obituary

James Claude Phipps a longtime resident of Rhea County went home to be with the Lord on September, 7th, 2020.

He was a christian man of strong faith, loved his friends and family dearly and traveling with his wife of 60 years.

James is preceded in death by his parents James Edward Phipps and Irene Phipps; daughter Cathy Jacobs.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Phipps; children, James, Sherry, Danny; grandchildren, Hannah, Matthew, Mary, Caleb, Jackson.

Small private Graveside Service will be held at Harris Cemetery, Wednesday, September 9th 2020 at 11:00am est. Pastor Stanley Faulkner will be officiating.
