Jeffrey Guy Obituary

Jeffrey Scott Guy, 45, of Dayton passed away on June 21, 2021, at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville. He was a life-long resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith. By trade, Mr. Guy was a home-builder for 25 years. He also loved to fish, pitch horseshoes, hunt, play pool, shoot darts, and play softball. He saved numerous lives as an organ donor.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, “Poppa” James Nunley, and nephew, Kaleb Poe.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Guy; mother, Wanda Nunley; daughter Loren Coulter of Dayton; son Thomas Guy of GA; in-laws, Tish and Tommy Morlock, and Frank Byerley, all of Spring City; brothers, Clifford Churchill, and Greg Evans; sisters, Cassandra Churchill, Marcy Smith, and Amy Evans; 3 grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Nathan and Wesley Smith; Jacob, Amos, and Makayley Evans; Kalee Thompson; Amanda and Cassie Churchill; Levi, Franki, and Kemper Collins.
