Bruce “Jerry” Cranfill, 80, of Dayton, TN passed away at his home February 28, 2026. Alife long resident of the area, Jerry was born August 5, 1945 to the late Bruce and Margaret Stevenson Cranfill. Jerry, a retired contractor who took pride in the homes he built in the area, was of the Baptist faith, and an avid gun enthusiast and member of the NRA. He loved fishing, playing cards, and especially loved playing BINGO with his friends. Jerry also loved traveling and most of all his family.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Margaret Cranfill; brothers, Alvin “Buddy” Cranfill and Wayne Cranfill; sisters, Imogene Harris and Jeanette Wagoner.
Jerry is survived by his children, Margaret Ann Beuoy, Robin (Robbie) Smith, Leslie Hall, Heather (Todd) Jewell, and Aaron (Joanna) Cranfill; one sister Joyce Rothwell; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held graveside at 2:30PM Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Morgan Springs Cemetery with the Reverend Jimmy Jewell officiating. The family will receive friends from 11AM until 2PM at the funeral home
