John Houston Obituary

John David Houston, 67, of Evensville, TN passed away June 10, 2020.

He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Church of God faith. He loved farm work.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Houston and Pearl Small Houston; sisters, Martha Houston, Mamie McCampbell, Violet Hall, Dorothy Simpson and brother, James Houston.

He is survived by children, Johnnie (Donald) Shoemake, David (Tiffany) Houston, James Brady all of Evensville, TN; sister, Emma Houston of Dayton; brothers, Charles “Baldy” (Helen) Houston of Dayton,TN, Don Houston of Evensville, TN; grandchildren, Ben Brady, Jonathan Shoemake, Kayla Holder, Caleb Houston, Connor Houston; great grandchildren, Bryson Shoemake, Landon Shoemake, Skylar Holder, Special friend, Judy Webb of Evensville, TN and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 2:00pm at Smyrna Cemetery with Rev. Tom Harrell officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday June 13, 2020 from 12:00-2:00pm at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
