John T.”Sonny” Maynor, 93, of Dayton, TN passed away March 28, 2020 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Farris Maynor; parents, and brother Roy Lee Maynor.
He is survived by daughter, Rhonda (Bill) Railey of Smyrna, Georgia; sister, Betty McDonald; brother, Raymond Maynor; two grandchildren, Taylor( Michael) Arndt, Graham ( Katie) Railey; four great-grandchildren, Railey, Graham, John and Grace that were truly the lights of his life and his unofficially adopted daughter, Anna Flatt.
A private graveside service was held at Rhea Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to John T’s favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
