Julie Ann Sheppard, age 38, of Evensville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Julie was a beloved daughter and the very best friend to her mother Kathy. She was of the Christian faith and lived life with a free spirit. Julie had a love for adventure, traveling, good food, and the beauty of nature. She cherished the simple joys of life and created lasting memories with those she loved. Above all else, Julie's greatest accomplishment and proudest blessing in life was her son, Landon. Being his mother brought her immeasurable joy, and he was the center of her world.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Wade Sheppard; her maternal grandparents, Allene Jo Morgan and Marcus N. Morgan; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Sheppard; her mother-in-law, Jayme Upton; her uncle, Bobby Sheppard, Jr.; and her beloved dog, Bear.
Left to cherish her memory are her fiancé, Dan Upton; her mother, Kathy (Wayne) Monday; her cherished son, Landon Chase Sheppard; her sisters, Leeah (Bill) Fekete and Jennifer (Brent) Sluder; her brother, Eric (Tenika) Morgan; her special niece, Kaliegh Burrage; her special cousin, Rachael (Roy) Scates; her father-in-law-to-be, Allen Upton; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Brother Ed Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Julie will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her kind heart, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Most of all, she will be remembered for the love and devotion she had for her son, Landon, who was the greatest joy and accomplishment of her life. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
