Karen Young Obituary

Karen Ann (Bradshaw) Young, 59, of Dayton, TN passed away on July 1, 2021. She was a life-long resident of Rhea County and of the Episcopal faith. She was a consummate athlete through high school, college, and beyond - enjoying softball, golf, and basketball. She also loved books, travel, and photography.

Karen is survived by her husband, Jeff Young; parents, Roy and Linda Bradshaw; sister, Kristy (Mark) Hall; brother-in-law, Kevin Young of Atlanta, GA; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friends Susan and Faith. Special thanks to caregivers Rita Lawson and Caroline Wilkerson; and Samara and Samantha from Hearth Hospice.

Service will be Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Clint Kerns officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
