Katherine Louise (Harris) Norman

Mrs. Katherine Louise Harris Norman, 84, passed away at Rhea Medical Center Saturday, June 3, 2023. She was a member of the Graysville Church of God, loved Bluegrass music, and played multiple instruments by ear. She will be missed by her family and those fortunate to have known her.

Katherine is preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Norman; son, Gary Norman; parents, Jesse and Stella Harris; brothers, Earl, Tommy, Glen, and Rodger Harris; sisters, Francis Jordan, Donna Harris, Mary Hale, and Betty Brown.

Mrs. Norman is survived by her children, Kay Yarbro and husband David of Hampton, GA, Connie Wright and husband Bobby of Oliver Springs, TN, Tina Scott of Loudon, TN, Larry Norman of Dayton, TN, Emma Potter and husband Rocky of Dayton, TN, and Sandy Shad of Oliver Springs, TN; daughter-in-law, Stacy Norman and her daughters, Bailey, Sierra, and Ariel of Clarksville, TN;  brother, David Harris of Dayton, TN and sister, Brenda Hastings of Dayton, TN. Surviving as well are sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Two very special friends survive, Mary Ann Buttram and Thelma Collier.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 5, 2023 at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home from 5 until 7. A private family graveside service will be held Tuesday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with Brother Jared Wilson officiating.
