Mr. Ken Sharpe, 59, of Dayton, Tennessee, passed away at Rhea Medical Center on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
Born on January 28, 1967, Ken was the son of the late Forest Keaton and Myrtle Sharp. A lifelong resident of Dayton, he was deeply loved by his community for his passion for sports, his dedication to mentoring young athletes, and, above all, his unwavering devotion to his family. Ken was the very definition of a leader. For many years, he dedicated his time to coaching youth football, leaving a lasting impact on countless young lives both on and off the field. Beyond athletics, Ken found great joy in gardening, taking pride each year in cultivating beautiful flower beds. His legacy is one of love, leadership, kindness, and selfless service to others.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Faye Howerton Sharp; his brother, Donny Sharp; and his sisters, Andre Lambert and Cammie Wilson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of thirty-eight years, Stacey Thurman Sharp; his children, Trina (Frank) Lovingood, Julian (Katie) Sharp, and Desmond Sharp; his seven cherished grandchildren, Jamarion, Zion, Hayden, Ramello, Keion, Sayde, and Gabby Sharp; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
