Kenneth Allen Nichols, age 80, of Dayton, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on November 30, 2025. He was born in Dayton on February 4, 1945, to James and Maggie Nichols.
He was a lifelong resident of Dayton and attended the Cove Chapel Church of God, where he was a Sunday School attendant for 45 years. He retired from Suburban Mfg. Company after 42 years. Prior to working at Suburban, he enjoyed farming.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Maggie Nichols; his first wife, Geraldine Nichols; sisters: Betty Baggett, Maydell Selby, Juanita McCoy, Gladys McCoy, Lou Clark, Virginia Coulter, Wilma Coulter; brothers: James Nichols, Arnold Nichols, and Thomas Nichols.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Nichols; sister, Dorothy (Ed) Coulter; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will receive friends at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. A graveside funeral service will follow immediately at Cove Cemetery in Dayton, Tennessee, with Brother L.J. Davis officiating.
