Obituary

Kenneth Harold Walker, age 73, of Dayton, TN, passed away on March 22, 2022, at Erlanger Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of the Dayton Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam, where he earned three Gold Stars and a Purple Heart for bravery. He was a member of the TN Association of Chief of Police in June 1990. He retired from the Dayton Police Department in 2005, and he also retired from the Koch Company, where he worked security. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years: Brenda Walker; his parents: Harold Dale and Geneva Pearl Walker; and his nephew: John Thomas Williams.

He is survived by his sister: Wanda Walker Williams of Evensville, TN; nephew: Samuel Kerry Williams of Evensville, TN; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, and cousins. 
The service will be at 2:00 PM, on Monday, March 28, 2022, in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Minister Steve Brown officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rhea Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 12-2 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
